Benassi/Global Deejays?

I was feeling some Benassi/GD sounds going on in there with the sub bass and the saw. I like it a lot definitely not a bad attempt what-so-effort and the elaboration on all the sounds shows you put a lot of effort in. Keep it up!

InvisibleObserver responds:

Benassi sound is just a single saw/square wave with 2 reverbs, one with a delay, and one with none. Alter the two reverbs stereo separation and you get this wooshing in out sound.

I've done some twiddling with send channels and delay to get them to repeat phrases backwards to layer on top of each other, its a rather tricky setup to write in, but sounds very unique.

Bro! Bro!

Bro, the build up? Flawless. Truly, I'm really impressed. I've been on and off with the audio portal for 3 or 4 years now listening to stuff and I've never heard any admission with this type of build up. The drop to kick a climax? Beautifully done. I gotta see more Drum n' Bass bro. Great work.

Thanks for the kind words!

I Wanted To Like It

Okay, so... I'm not a fan of trancy songs. But the intro to this was dope. The only problem I had was a really heavy pad into the song and then the 90s came out me with that punch bass. Bro, you gotta get a better punch bass. It was not cutting what this song is capable of. I think bass is what killed this for me cuz I really did not feel a climax in this song at all and with techno that's what you really want. Though, I love the voice sampling. Thought it was terrific in small aspects that's for sure! Sampling was good.

Mayvix responds:

thank you for the review, yeah the bass is a little dated but it's kinda an old mix too.
coming out of i want to say FL 5 the full version is available here
http://www.myspace.com/sadmadwave old page working on a new page.

This is the one we went back and tried to do some touching up on. make it a little more "polished". if you have time to listen to that one let me know.
and i look in to a more modern punch bass & climax ending.

I Got A Different Idea

I think the music is dope dude, seriously. I like the fact that, unlike few underground groups, you're stays together in rhythm. As far as vocals? Bro, shockingly your voice is more towards a punk genre. I was kinda shocked! Prog is definitely not the style for singing but a punk band could do ya justice :P

Kor-Rune responds:

Punk huh? XD I've actually never played or been interested in punk.

I don't think I'm confident enough to sing punk, or lyrically gifted enough.

Steve Kaos is muh name. It's all about music.
